Message from the President

Thoughts for the Next Year

Innovation. Collaboration. Transformation. These concepts exemplify what health sciences librarians are noted for as they develop collections and manage growth and change while still

delivering needed information to their users. From the typewriter to the iPad, for over 35 years BQSI/MB and its members have been a prime example of how these ideas are best put to work. I am sure the next 35 years will see as much hard work and success.

During the next year, I look forward to working with all of you to continue the accomplishments and achievements of our organization. I hope to continue to find ways we can support each other, by helping all of us understand the technological changes that are impacting our libraries and users; reaching out and adding new members; and developing interesting and informative programs and continuing education opportunities.

This can be an exciting yet overwhelming time for all of us but with a vibrant and involved member organization there to call on, it can continue to be a ultimately satisfying one as well. Remember:

BQSI/MB Members are the Coolest Librarians
